The Youth Card offers a number of useful and exciting advantages:

  • Access benefits such as Libreta Joven (young persons savings), Crédito Joven (young persons credit), insurance, travel and special conditions on certain purchases.

To obtain the Youth Card, whether a new registration or renewal, you need to go to any CaixaBank branch to request it with your national ID or foreign resident ID number, and pay the corresponding annual fee for each autonomous community.

If you're between the ages of 18 and 30 you can request one via this website, using the online form.
If you'd like to request a Debit version, you can do so through your Wallet in the imagin app.

In Canary Islands you can request a non-financial version, the debit card version and the prepayment version from the age of 14 and the credit card version from 18.

You need to be between the ages of 14 and 30, inclusive, though the exact age may vary depending on your Community. Request the card at any CaixaBank branch with your national ID or foreign resident ID number, and pay the annual fee corresponding to each Autonomous Community. Whether you're a Spanish or foreign national, you must go to an issuing branch in your autonomous community, whether you live there permanently or temporarily, but it will be essential to indicate a postal address in the autonomous community, as if not, the management system will not allow the request.

The Youth Card in Canary Islands is free.

The Youth Card in the Canary Islands lasts for 4 years. The month you are 31, the card will expire at the end of the month.

The renewal of your Youth Card is free. It will be sent to you automatically two months before the one you have expires.

In some cases they may not have this sticker, but to make sure, you can always check all the discounts on the website or the app of your Autonomous Community.
