Yes, it covers repairs or replacement due to accidental damage, such as a broken screen. You should, however, take into account that both modalities have 10% excess.

The contract is annual, but you can extend it up to 3 years.

This insurance covers phones that are new or less than a year old.

Both coverage options (basic and extended) have a 15-day waiting period.

You can cancel an insurance policy you have taken out with imagin in one of two ways:

  • All policies have a withdrawal period from the time you purchase them (this period depends on the product). You can withdraw from the App > My profile > Settings > Withdrawal and cancellation of the Service > Select product > Choose the policy in question.
  • If this period has elapsed, you can find the number to call to cancel your insurance from the App > Contract > Insurance > Select your policy > Manage it conveniently.
  • ABreakdowns, faults or defects related to internal causes, covered by the manufacturer's or distributor's warranty. 
  • Any normal wear and tear. 
  • Damage caused to external parts of the insured terminal that does not prevent its proper operation (scratches and any other purely external or cosmetic damage.) ​ 
  • Costs of accessories or any consumables related to the operation of the insured terminal (batteries, chargers, hands-free system, supplementary cards, goggles and any secondary accessory in general). 
  • Damage caused by a latent defect in both the material and the manufacture.
  • Theft. 
  • Any malfunction in an electrical, electronic or mechanical component (unless the fault is due to accidental external damage to the insured terminal) ​ 
  • Software, applications, content on the insured terminal that is not the operating system and the original software package (including personal data, photos, videos, confidential information or information of value to the insured party).
