Does the imaginTeens account cost anything?

Absolutely none! The imaginTeens account has no opening or maintenance fees. In addition, these conditions will not change upon reaching the age of 18.

Can I open an imaginTeens account without being a CaixaBank customer?

You need to be a CaixaBank customer to open an imaginTeens account. If you're not a customer yet, you will need to register first before opening the account for your child.

Yes, but you have to realise that in that case, your child will not have access to the imaginTeens app. If you want them to be able to access it, we will need to know their number.

I am not the child's parent. Can I still open the account?

The relationship required to open an imaginTeens account is to be the minor's legal guardian.

Will I be able to view the imaginTeens account in my app?

Yes, you can view and manage all your child's products from the Kids&Teens section of your CaixaBankNow app.

Will my child have access to the imaginTeens account?

Your child will be able to view the account you give them access to on imaginTeens.

Is the app for parents different from the app for kids?

Yes, the apps are different. As the legal guardian, you can control all your child's products and transactions from the Kids&Teens section of CaixaBankNow. On the other hand, your child can manage and control their own money from imaginTeens, an app specially created for children with features adapted to their age.

Is there any cost for the imaginTeens debit card?

Absolutely none! The imaginTeens debit card with no issuance or maintenance fees. In addition, these conditions will not change upon reaching the age of 18.

From what age is Bizum available?

Bizum is available to minors 14 and older.

How can I activate Bizum?

If your child already has access to their imaginTeens app, they can request Bizum activation from the "Payments" section of the app. You can easily accept their application from your CaixaBankNow app.

If your child does not yet have access to the imaginTeens app, you will need to give them access beforehand. You can do this directly from the Kids&Teens section of your CaixaBankNow app (if you already have an account) or by visiting a CaixaBank branch (if they don't yet have an account).

Can I direct deposit into this account any scholarships that my child gets?

There sure is! In fact, the minor has to be the account holder in order to apply for the scholarship or aid.

1. No account maintenance fee. The account is not remunerated 0% APR, 0% NIR. CaixaBank, S.A., with Tax ID A08663619, registered in the Special Administrative Register of the Bank of Spain, under code 2100, is the entity offering the bank account.

2. imaginTeens, a trademark of CaixaBank, S.A. markets products from the hybrid payment entity CaixaBank Payments & Consumer, E.F.C. E.P., S.A.U. ("CPC"), with registered office at Avenida de Manoteras nº 20, Edificio París (28050 Madrid), which issues the debit card. The system chosen by CPC to protect the funds of customers using payment services is the deposit in a separate account opened with CaixaBank, S.A.

In order for the minor to send and receive money using Bizum: i) both the sender and the recipient must be registered with Bizum (if the recipient is not registered, an SMS will be sent to them to register to receive the money) and (ii) the minor's legal representative must authorise the minor to carry out payment transactions.

4. The offer consists of paying you €10 for each person who registers as a new imaginTeens customer using your code, which you will find in the app when you sign up. To receive the money, it is necessary that i) the person you invite opens an account and ii) redeems the code you have provided. The maximum amount we will pay you for this offer is €50 (5 friends).
